Wedding Band Cardiff - May 2016
Well, what a busy month May was. Historically the start of wedding season, but we began much earlier this year. With weddings in January and a number over Easter. In May we played at events in Barry, The Gower, Cardiff, Usk and Caerleon. We stayed in Wales, which is rare. In June and July we are travelling much further afield.......watch this space.......
The weather in May was warm and memories of relaxing with a beer in the sun on the Gower and in Usk stand out for me. We welcomed back an old friend and former member of the band - Chris Raggatt. He is now pursuing his solo country music career, but joined us for a wedding in Pencoed House in Llantrisant. Was great to have Chris's talent and personality on stage with us once again! The "Perfect Day Trio" had an outing - Matt, John and Leah - at the Bell in Caerleon, for the annual May Bank Holiday Beer and Cider festival. Their Chorizo burgers were immense! We played an acoustic warm up set for Brother Ray (http://www.brotherraymusic.com) - who entertained the revellers until late into the evening.
