Wedding locations Cardiff...

There's so much to choose from!

From the very large to the very quaint, there are plenty of popular Cardiff wedding venues that cater for all tastes. As Wales' capital city there are virtually an unlimited range of venues on offer. The main areas of Cardiff offer slightly different "types" of location:

City Centre

There are plenty of lavish hotels in the City Centre. A number of large multi-national hotel chains operate in the City. All offer exquisit wedding packages. Some of the more popular include the Hilton Hotel Cardiff, Mercure Hotel (Mulholland House), the Park Plaza and the Angel Hotel.

The most spectacular venue in the city centre though, has to be Cardiff Castle. With it's magnificent banqueting hall, this is a perfect wedding venue for guests to celebrate in lavish period drama type surroundings.

Cardiff Bay

Cardiff Bay offers something very different for wedding seekers. The ultra modern developments that have sprung up in recent years have brought with them some fantastic hotel venues, but it is probably the older Cardiff venues which make "the Bay" a unique wedding location.

St David's Hotel and Spa is a 5* hotel, which offers guests the fantastic Spa facilities, alongside the amazing food and drink the hotel produces.

However, for a very different location look no further than the Norwegian Church - which sits right next to the sea. This historic Luthean chuch offers panaromic view of the Bay area and offers some of the best acoustics for live music that you'll ever hear.

Rural Cardiff

Being a small city, it doesn't take long to edge into rural parts of Cardiff. As a result there are a host of Manor houses, estates and other countryside wedding venues on offer.
